How do we measure progress?

The first step is to obtain baseline testing. We can’t measure improvement unless we know where we are starting from. The baseline test used is the Gibson Cognitive Battery which assesses the patient in 30 minutes.

Once we are aware of the patient’s strengths and weaknesses we attack the weak skills and build upon the strong skills to prepare them for lifelong learning.

Isn’t it the same as a tutor?

BrainRX programme treats the causes rather than the symptoms. Tutoring focuses on re-teaching content while BrainRX focuses on why someone didn’t learn the content in the first place. BrainRX develops all the cognitive skill areas while tutoring solely focuses on stored information.

Who is brain training suitable for?

  • Traumatic Brain Injury sufferers
