Carla Chedid is an experienced clinical psychologist with over 14 years of experience in the mental health sector. Her expertise spans a wide range of assessment and therapeutic techniques, bolstered by her dual qualifications in psychology and psychomotor therapy. Carla holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Lebanese American University and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Haigazian University. She further specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a diploma from La-Croix Hospital, in collaboration with Sainte-Anne Hospital in France, and has completed advanced workshops on depression and anxiety at the Beck Institute in Pennsylvania, USA.
In 2019, Carla relocated to Dubai after successfully operating her own center in Lebanon for 12 years. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating various methodologies including CBT, relaxation techniques, and schema therapy, tailored to meet the needs of both adult and child clients. She has extensive experience addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, sexual abuse, burnout, stress, mood disorders, and learning difficulties, with a particular focus on ADHD.
Carla’s work with culturally diverse populations has refined her ability to customize her therapeutic strategies to each client’s unique context.
