Karuna Anand, M.D is a American Board Certified female Psychiatrist in Dubai. She is a Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (USA), member of American Psychiatric Association and American Medical Association. She is currently the Medical Director of Cambridge Medical Centre (CMC) DHCC. Before joining CMC she worked as Consultant Psychiatrist at Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah and was the Chief of Psychiatry, Medical Director and Senior Psychiatrist in California, USA before that.
Having over twenty years of wealth of experience as a psychiatrist, in assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health problems Dr. Karuna has developed an expertise in the mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment and appropriate use of medications for ADHD, anxiety disorders, OCD, eating disorders, depression, psychosis, bipolar illness, behavior issues in neuro-developmental disorders and sleep difficulties.
She is passionate about her clinical work, believes in treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit and always puts the best interest of the patient and their families at heart.
